I like very much the app. I learn a lot !

The app is a great tool to learn about the wine before purchasing, I wont be without it in my shop.

I know nothing about wine and am rarely paying attention to remember what I tried. And anything I really like tends to impact my memory... who knows why (; this app is so easy to use and makes it so simple to log. Loved using it for a wine tour I did and can now go back and recall what I tasted and what I want to keep an eye out for in the future.

Great app! I like that I can read both pro and non-pro reviews while visiting restaurants and stores, and then add my own notes and reviews. A useful app that is also fun to use :)

Perfect for tracking wines I like (and dont like). The pic-and-ID-bottle feature is great.

Good app, however needs to be more inclusive to other users: app will not accept Canadian postal-codes.

Pros Extensive wine database Cons - Have to add a rating - Location powered by Foursquare and hasnt yet found any locations I have searched for - Cant add own location - Cant say "I bought this but havent drunk it yet" which means I cant add the tasting notes provided by the wine store until I try it - Have to give a rating. But I havent tried the wine yet so ... - US-centric buy option which I dont care about I just want an app where I can store my wine lists - what I have tried and love, whay I have tried and dont love, what Ive bought and not drunk yet. I dont care about social media sharing or finding friends. No app I have tried so far is capable of this and this one is no exception.

The answer to the question: whats the Untappd for wine & spirits? Excellent at identifying from the label what the wine/spirit is.

I am sure there will be better wine ID/catalog apps, but Delectable is top dog at the moment. The label recognition capabilities are not perfect, but very close. The "expert/industry" ratings are from truly knowledgeable soms, winemakers and vineyard owners. I appreciate that the "buy this" component isnt in-your-face, because that isnt of interest to me, really. My favorite part is the cataloging of the wines by region, varietal and vintage. Very handy.

I really like and use delectable as a tool for looking up wines before I buy a bottle Im not familiar with and for keeping track of the ones I have had in the past. I also like seeing what others are drinking and enjoying!
