Delectable - Scan & Rate Wine App Reviews

This is exactly what I was looking for. Take a photo of the wine label, and all information is provided. If its not available, their "wine experts" find it. Write your review. Post it to social media. Perfect.

The label detection had gone amiss and you have to correct a good 80% or more of the wine labels pictures you take. Used to function so much better.

The on screen keyboard on my iPad Air no longer displays properly. Its impossible to enter comments.

It does a great job of cataloging the wine I drink. Just wish there was an offline option that didnt post to everyone what I drank and when.

This is my second wine app. The first was Drync. I quit using Drync because they were annoying, always trying to sell me wine I didnt want. Delectable is not obnoxious in that way, but I find it hard to do what I want. I want a simple diary of the wines I have had (and purchased), enabling me to look up the frequency Ive had them, and which ones I like best. Delectable is fine, but too focused on forcing me to share my wine drinking on social media. I wish it didnt do that.

Easy to use

Easy site to navigate and share your wine experience and knowledge. A wide range of range of reviews so you can make your own judgements - much like Yelp. Wine prices are not always shown and they may need to do a better job gathering prices (would make it better reference app). Should get better over time...

I needed a quick method to keep track of the wines Ive tasted, tasting notes and what I thought about them. This serves my needs perfectly. The insights give me quick access to varietals and regions for easy cross reference.

This app is good for keeping track of and buying good wines

The app works great as a record of wines and notes. But other features are plain stupidly done - specifically the "who are you drinking with" and "where" sections. You cannot fill these in except from a prepopulated list that is completely off the mark. For instance under "where" it offers Wendys, the public park (alcohol prohibited) and the gas station. But not my house. The app should allow free text entry here.

I love seeing what other people think as well as remembering what wines Ive had. Character recognition of the labels is spot on too.

Lost focus on trying to pivot and disrupt. I own a retail wine store, why would I contribute to this effort?

Ive used a number of wine tracking and rating apps and Delectable is very far the most social. Great db of wines and the bottle recognition works great.

Love the app! Use it every time I uncork or look to buy!

I like this app because it is so helpful when you are standing in the store deciding what to purchase, or just to share your thoughts on a random wine you acquired
